The Department of Electronics Engineering – VLSI Design and Technology has been established in the year 2023 looking towards the great future for semiconductor (Chip design) Industries in India. We are committed to bring professional expertise with personal development, fostering the holistic growth of our students to prepare them for careers in both corporate and research sectors.
Students receive hands-on experience in critical areas such as VLSI, Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, IoT, through cutting-edge pedagogical methods and project-based learning. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure includes well-equipped laboratories with advanced hardware and software tools that support both learning and high-quality research. Syllabus of S.P.P.U. is as per National Education policy and so students get to learn other multidisciplinary subjects including Data Base management, JAVA Programming, Digital communication, Digital Marketing etc.
Students are encouraged to take leadership roles in organizing departmental / Institute level Technical as well as extracurricular activities. They are also motivated to take part in State and National level technical activities such as Paper presentation, Technical Quiz, Hackathon, etc. Sports activities are also arranged in our campus to make them aware that physical fitness is also important in life. Our students also engage meaningfully in socially relevant community outreach and extension activities.
