Introduction : Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. The institute has provided the complete infrastructure for the effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the students for the campus selection programs. The cell keeps on inviting various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. It modules the engineering students to young corporals. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students. Reputed industrial houses across the country visit our institute regularly for the campus recruitment programs. The cell maintains a very cordial relationship with all the recruiting industries and also prepares the recruited candidates to face the competitive world.

The mission of the Training & Placement Cell is to raise the knowledge and skills of students to match with the present-day needs of the industry and provide the best of opportunities available in India and Abroad.
The goal of the Training & Placement is to provide career guidance and training program, enable the students to gain a competitive edge in the recruitment process, groom their confidence, and develop their personalities.
The major functions of the Training and Placement department involve:
- Organizing training sessions in making the student community employable and meeting corporate expectations.
- Organizing and coordinating Campus Placement Programs.
- Establishing a cordial relationship with the Industries, inviting them for Campus recruitment drives, organizing technical seminars, workshops, and other technical sessions. Industry personnel is invited periodically to enrich the knowledge of our student community with the latest technological innovations and industry practices.
- Promoting career counseling through guidance lecture programs by suitable corporate representatives.
- Maintaining an updated database, job profiles, recruitment patterns of the companies which helps to analyze and prepare the mindset of the students. The Placement Cell has an active file of the database with an ample record of the corporate world, which will be updated continuously.
- Helping every student to define his/her career interest through individual expert counseling.
- To prepare students to face campus interviews by arranging training in Aptitude tests, Group Discussions, Preparing for Technical and HR interviews through professional trainers
- Providing requisite training to students in the areas of Personality Development and Communication Skills.
- Collaborate with industry for live projects, Research Work, Workshop or industrial visits, academic alliance with industries,
- Interacting with recruiters for campus placement.
- Industry Institute Interaction activities to develop knowledge and skills of students

Training & Placement Cell Roles & Responsibilities:
The following are the Roles & Responsibilities that the committee aims to accomplish in every academic year:
- Getting the Pre-Placement Job Description / Job Announcement Form (declaration) filled in by the Students of each visiting company
- Organizing Pre-Placement Seminars by Companies
- Maintaining and regularly updating Database of Students
- Maintaining Database of Companies and establishing strategic links for campus recruitments
- Gathering information about Job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements
- Coordinating with companies to learn about their recruitment procedures
- Identifying the needs and expectations of the companies to assist them in recruiting the most suitable candidates
- Organizing pre-placement training for students(Soft Skills, Dress Codes, Mock Interviews)
- Smooth Co-ordination & conduction of campus drives organized by various companies.
